Master WordPress website setup and administration—learn how to install, configure, and manage content, themes, plugins, menus, users, SEO tools, and privacy settings from the ground up.

Learning Objectives

In this workshop, you will be working on a WordPress site. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

• Adjust settings
• Implement and customize themes
• Implement and manipulate various plugins
• Assign roles to users
• Create and manipulate content (pages and posts)
• Adding media
• Create and manipulate menus
• Add SEO to pages
• Dealing with privacy and Security requirements(cookies, etc.)
• Describe how a WordPress website works
• Describe Add-on Platform Page builders like Divi and Elementor

Target Audience

People who have managed content on WorPress or have taken the WordPress Content Management Course.

Required

• A laptop or desktop with a mouse or mousepad (feedback from students is that a smartphone or tablet-type device is not a good fit for this course)

• A microphone (video is not required)
• An excellent internet connection

Course Fee: $800 (plus GST/HST for Canadian organizations or individuals)
