Course Overview

Get started with Google Docs—learn to write, format, and structure professional-looking documents, including headers, images, and sharing options, all in a user-friendly environment.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, you will be able to:

• Navigate and explain the key features of the Google Docs interface

• Create a document, write and format text, and apply heading styles for structure

• Insert and customize headers, footers, and page numbers

• Add, resize, and position images within a document

• Save documents in various formats and share them using Google Docs’ collaboration tools

Target Audience

This live 90 minute workshop is for people new to Google Docs.

Required

• **Gmail or Google Account required**
• A laptop or desktop with a mouse or mousepad (feedback from students is that a smartphone or tablet-type device is not a good fit for this course)
• A microphone (video is not required)

Course Fee: $75 (plus GST/HST for Canadian organizations or individuals)
