Conquer Google Sheets from the ground up—this all-in-one course blends beginner and intermediate skills into one dynamic session covering formulas, formatting, filters, charts, and more.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Navigate the Google Sheets interface, including cells, sheets, tabs, menus, toolbars, and the status bar
- Enter and reference data, and use various methods to select and manage cell ranges
- Save, share, and collaborate on spreadsheets using Google’s sharing and permission tools
- Understand when to clear contents versus delete cells, rows, or columns
- Insert, hide, unhide, resize, and merge cells, rows, and columns for better data organization
- Apply cell wrapping, alignment, and basic formatting for improved readability
- Move and copy data efficiently within a sheet
- Use and customize autofill to increase productivity
- Copy worksheets and manage tab location and formatting
- Identify the difference between formulas and built-in functions
- Use the Name Box to reference specific cells and define cell ranges
- Understand and apply relative and absolute cell referencing appropriately
- Build formulas and apply them using autofill across data sets
- Incorporate ranges within formulas and functions for more complex calculations

All Google Application training requires access to a free Google account (gmail), or an education or corporate Google account with activated email.

A laptop or desktop with a mouse or mousepad (feedback from students is that a smartphone or tablet-type device is not a good fit for this course)
