Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe the types of data validation commands that are available in Excel
• Implement data validation for specific cells
• Use functions for creating valid data for calculations and lists
• Validate dates and times

Target Audience

People who are comfortable with MS Excel.
Students should be able to open Excel and can enter data and easily navigate within a workbook.

Required

• A laptop or desktop with a mouse or mousepad (feedback from students is that a smartphone or tablet-type device is not a good fit for this course)

• A microphone (video is not required)
